Small Plates – Face Grain & End Grain with Tod Raines

In this demonstration I will show the turning of two small plates. One using face grain wood which will require three work-holding positions. The second plate will be turned end grain and may require jam chucking. The two different methods will show the tools and techniques possible with the two orientations of mounting wood on the lathe. The small projects are great for gifts or around the home.
