Enriching Projects with Texture & Color with Scott Hampton

For 20+ years, I have used texturing and coloring to enrich my turned pieces, and here’s your chance to learn about this intriguing topic. I will begin with explaining how to use a vast choice of texturing tools to accentuate and heighten your projects including chatter tools, spiral tools, knurling tools, and others. The second half of the class will cover the use dyes, stains, milk paint, effects paint, and gilt and colored waxes to show off the texturing and bring out the beauty of the wood.
