Turning the Third Burl

Join me on April 3 to turn burl number three. At my Working with Burls IRDs, you will recall that burl number three was turned on it’s side to make a deep vee cup, chalice, or vase. In Working with Burls I don’t take any of the pieces to completion – only enough to get started. In Turning the Third Burl, we will turn the deep-vee cup to completion. The cup portion is geared towards intermediate to advanced turners, but turners of all skills will get something from the demonstration.
