Threaded Boxes and Vessels - Part 1 - Threaded Inserts with Cindy Drozda

This is part 1 in a 2-part series exploring different ways to create threaded lids. Create a threaded lid on any box or vessel style, and in any material, with Threaded Inserts. The Acorn Box is a forgiving design, made from 2 different woods, with a textured lid, and using a bronze threaded insert. The Pill Box is made from a single blank, with the threaded insert yielding a near-perfect grain match. I will introduce Hand Thread Chasing with an easy project, the Magic Bottle.
