Basics Guide to Woodturning Boxes with Scott Hampton

I will instruct you on using various techniques and tools to transform plain pieces of wood into useful boxes. I will teach about different woods, mounting wood blanks on the lathe, hollowing the interior, woodturning the lid, sanding, and finishing. During this class, the project I will show you how to make is a tall, slender box with a domed lid and finial. This is a fantastic project for those who have never made boxes or are just starting out making these enjoyable-to-make pieces.
