Cake Stand with Tod Raines

I’ll show the making of a cake stand. Why a cake stand you say? I love a good cake and I am sure some of you do too. So, this will be a great gift to anyone you love. Also, it is a mid-size project that involves face and side (spindle) orientated turning skills. It will take two separate pieces of wood and learning how to join and match these two pieces will interesting to see and learn. Along the way, I will talk about lathe safety and comfort to help alleviate any anxiety while at the lathe.
