Turning a Laminated Bowl

Wouldn't it be nice to sand less when turning bowls? In this class you will see the advantages of the "rainbow cut" for less sanding and grain tear out.  We will be turning a laminated dry wood bowl. Discover the difference between screw chuck, recess and tenon mounting. There will be a brief discussion of bowl gouge use types of gouges, gouge selection and sharpening. All levels are Welcome Skills and Techniques that will be Shown: Use of Bowl gouge, types of gouges and gouge selection.
