I am retired from the local power company after working for 31 years there in a variety of jobs - librarian, record manager, PC support, server support, technology transfer for R&D, exhibit developer & manager, instructor, troubleshooter, etc. I now enjoy my volunteer time supporting our club as secretary, newsletter editor, sales person, special event manager, etc. as well as volunteering with our local fire department cooking meals, facilitating fund-raising events, helping with fire prevention classes, and assisting the firefighters as needed at fire scenes. My husband and I live in beautiful Upstate NY (40 miles south of Lake Ontario) where the seasons can be very delightful.
I am a multi-disciplinary artist who enjoys learning from many other talented artists and integrating those ideas with my projects. I love to use the scrollsaw to create my projects but whenever possible try to integrate other media into the projects. I also create beaded jewelry and objects, with my current obsession being beaded boxes and birds.
